Kleg Seth is the guest host today while your regular host, Tim Berends, is in the San Francisco and Oakland area handing out about 7000 tracts. Many of the tracts being passed out are focused on those involved in Islam.

Tommy Scott is the first guest today. Tommy grew up in south central Los Angeles. Living in a gang infested area he got involved in gangs (starting in elementary school). He saw the passing of about 30 friends while growing up. His nickname was "hit man" on the streets. By the time he relocated in Las Vegas he had been in seventeen jails and prisons. After being arrested for an outstanding warrant, he found himself stressed to the breaking point. He had been drinking heavily and suicidal for two months before being arrested. The second day in jail he went to a Bible study after hearing it announced over the intercom. It was at this Bible study that he met Tim and Kleg. He heard that God loved him and Jesus died on the cross to forgive him of all his sins. After receiving Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit he went back to his dorm and began telling others what Jesus had done for him and what he could do for them. He started a prayer group with other inmates. Although they wanted to give Tommy ten years in prison, he was released on house arrest for one year. He had problems finding a job due to his record. He went to school to be a dental technician. He attended a small weekly Bible study and one of the men attending owned a dental lab. He made it possible for Tommie to start a job before completing his training. Tommy now has a new home, is happily married and living with his two boys. Very soon they will be blessed with a baby girl. (Ed: MB)
